The global COVID-19 pandemic has forever altered our lives as customers, employees, family members and humans. Our perspective and behaviour has changed as a result of the strain presented by the outbreak.
Customers have formed new buying patterns that are likely to endure even after the crisis has passed. Of course, this presents a variety of opportunities for different sectors. And before the pandemic transformed how work gets done, those who viewed digital commerce as a secondary channel, now need to run their businesses with a digital commerce focus.
Well, at Quarphix, here’s how we’re contributing towards flattening the curve:
There will be routine screening done to ensure that the teams working at the office post negative results. While the team members returning to the office will have official tests run on them before they start doing any work for the company. These measures are designed to keep a clean workspace, save lives, while creating value for our clients and contributing to the livelihoods of our teams.
In addition, two reusable masks per individual will be provided to the people who will be traveling to and carrying out work at the office or client environments. The global spread of the pandemic has created challenges around our daily movements, chief among which lies within public transport. To mitigate the risk, we’ve decided on rotating the work schedule for the team members who use public transport to and from work. Those who do not need to be in the office however, will continue to work from home.
Inside the office, to keep to health standards and social distancing behaviour necessary to keep the spread of Covid-19 at bay, the teams will be positioned 1.5 meters apart from each other. And when it comes to phone lines that may be shared by multiple people at a time, the sharing and/or touching of the hardware will be slashed. Desk handsets and personal mobile phones will be used instead.
In the working world dubbed the ‘new normal’ that we find ourselves operating in, Quarphix is working towards providing contactless delivery of our services to clients and improve the working spaces that our teams get to work in.
