The NYDA’s organisation’s mandate focuses on the addressing youth challenges, through development and undertaking of programmes that will allow youth to improve their livelihoods, through socio-economic participation.
To deliver on its mandate, the Agency must ensure the network infrastructure can provide a robust, reliable, redundant, secure, future-proof and flexible network, with the ability for national scaling.
In March 2017, NYDA awarded the contract to Quarphix, which runs over three (3) years, in excess.
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) has simplified the way the NYDA manages its applications by providing a single identity system for cloud and on-premises applications. Quarphix was able to add software as a service (SaaS) applications, on-premises applications, and line of business (LOB) apps to Azure AD. NYDA internal and external users could sign in once to securely and seamlessly access these applications, along with Office 365 and other business applications from Microsoft and stakeholder vendors.
